You ordered the labs. Or you’re about to.
You’re here because something felt off—and you finally decided to do something about it.
So what now?
Let’s give you the inside scoop—how it actually works, what Apex patients know, and the kind of support, clarity, and pace you can expect when you’re on the inside.
Labs Aren’t a Barrier. They’re the Unlock.
First things first: we start with labs because we don’t do guesswork.
But this part is dead simple:
- You order your panel online through Apex
- You’ll go to LabCorp—no appointment needed
- When you walk in, you’ll tap your name in on the kiosk, hand them your license, and that’s it
- Most people are in and out in 10 minutes
- Then we handle the rest
Once those labs are back (usually a few days), your provider will go through them line by line with you. You won’t get a PDF with 12 red numbers and no explanation—you’ll get real interpretation, real insights, and a real path forward to hit your goals.
The Spruce App = Your Clinic in Your Pocket
Once you’re in, Spruce becomes your lifeline.
Think of it like secure text messaging with your provider—but smarter. We are a Telehealth virtual based clinic. All your protocols arrive in the mail. We operate like today’s consumer prefers, with efficiency.
With our spruce app- need help with your protocol? Message us.
Accidentally missed a dose? We’ll guide you.
Anxious about your first injection? We got you.
Running labs again and not sure if you’re fasting? Hit send.
You’ll never have to wait on hold or schedule an entire appointment for a five-second question.
How Often Will You Need Labs or Check-ins?
This is a system—not a one-and-done.
Most Apex patients follow this rhythm:
- Initial Labs: baseline foundation
- Quarterly Recheck: every ~90 days, we re-test and adjust your protocol based on your results and how you’re feeling
- Adjustments as Needed: more frequent if something changes (like a big weight shift, life stressor, injury, or travel)
Your provider doesn’t set it and forget it. This is adaptive care—because your system evolves, so your protocol should too.
What About Injections and Protocols?
If your path involves injections (many do), we make that as straightforward as possible.
You’ll get:
- Video walkthroughs
- Step-by-step printed protocol sheets
- Direct access to your team via Spruce if anything ever feels off
Most patients say:
“I was nervous the first time. By the third dose, I was on autopilot.”
Do You Take Insurance?
No. On purpose.
Insurance isn’t built for this kind of care. It delays, denies, and dictates treatment that has nothing to do with you.
Here’s what you CAN do:
- Use HSA or FSA funds
- Submit superbills if you’d like to try for reimbursement
- Know that every dollar you spend goes to your clarity and care—not to navigating someone else’s billing code system
- Many of our patients report a decrease in both their insurance premiums and out-of-pocket medical expenses after switching to Apex care.
What Apex Patients Say
- “I feel like someone’s actually listening to me for once.”
- “I haven’t had this much energy since before I had kids.”
- “I thought I needed motivation. Turns out I just needed a system.”
- “My doctor said everything was fine. Apex showed me what wasn’t.”
- “Honestly, the Spruce app alone is worth it. I never feel alone in this.”
